Doctor Response to Letter

This should illustrate just how difficult it had become to try and get a professional to take this seriously.

On my previous Correspondence with the Dr, he had effectively brushed me off with a ‘These objects look like Material’ – I decided to follow up. He was brushing me off with no real solution, so I decided to make it objectively harder for him to do so by putting something into writing. The outcome I wanted was for him to agree for another appointment and also recognise or acknowledge something not quite right was going on.

The response from his PA (7th Sept 2023). was this….

So another response that was not actionable and lead to no where. Personally, I think this is almost a way for them to get out of some sort of negligence claim. I think it would be much better for him to say ‘I’m stuck, don’t know what this is’. For clarity, in the previous letter I was asking for an appointment to see him again.

FAO: Dr XXXXXXXXX 

Summary status 5th Sepot 2023:   

• I have disloged the following items from my ear, where it  is swollen and hardened and also where I feel considerable irritation. 
• This is in the exact location where you removed that growth from my ear

Questions

• You claim this is material,  could you offer an explanation on how this has managed to embded itself in hardened shells and then inflitrated my ear  
• Can you please send the report on the section your removed from my ear for my reference – did this also include some sort of histology 
• The creams your recommended are not working at removing the rest of the artifact, can you recemmend another course of action? 
• I have not received an appointment for the Tropical Disense center yet, so am in need of some intermittent bridging advice.
